During the second Republican presidential debate, the candidates were asked about the current dispute over federal funding for Planned Parenthood. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he has vetoed state funding for the organization eight times.
Christie said that since he has been governor, Planned Parenthood has not received any state funding.
Christie added that the Republican candidates are fighting with each other when they should be attacking Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary Clinton believes in the systematic murder of children in the womb,” he said.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker jumped in and bragged that he too has blocked federal money from going to Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin.
