Commercials during the Super Bowl are usually a highlight of the experience. Companies pull out some of their best and funniest ads during these primetime slots.
But this year one company stood out for going in the opposite direction.
Nationwide Insurance aired what had to be the most depressing Super Bowl commercial of all time in which a young boy says he’ll never be able to live a full life because he died from a preventable accident.
Funny or Die imagined what it would be like for that child when he got to Heaven’s pearly gates.
Turns out that Jesus is a pretty big football fan and actually wanted to enjoy the game…uh-oh.
