[WATCH] J.T., Jimmy Fallon once again school Americans on the ‘History of Rap’

Jimmy Fallon saved the best for last during his inaugural week as host of the storied “Tonight Show,” bringing on his ‘brother from another mother’ Justin Timberlake to help deliver the latest, much-anticipated installment of their “History of Rap” series Friday night.

This time, the duo incorporated the works of Will Smith, Salt ‘N’ Pepa, Kriss Kross, Jay-Z, and Drake into their history lesson, while also dissecting how Fallon “came straight out of Compton” and allegedly “has girl problems.” The Hollywood Reporter has a full list of the artists and songs incorporated in the mashup here.

Fallon and Timberlake debuted the fourth installment of the series last March during Timberlake’s week-long “Timberweek” residency on Fallon’s previous show, “Late Night.” The pair, who first struck comedic (and award-winning) gold together on “Saturday Night Live”, most recently performed a musical number during last year’s Christmas episode of the long-running comedy show.

Earlier in the week, Fallon managed to get NBC News anchor Brian Williams to perform “Rappers Delight” and Smith to help teach America the ‘Evolution of Hip-Hop Dance’ on the show.
