[WATCH] Allen West calls President Obama ‘spoiled brat’, ‘pathological liar’ and asks Chuck Hagel to resign

Analyzing his recent rhetoric and political tactics, former Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) called President Barack Obama a “spoiled brat child” and “pathological liar” during an interview on the Steve Malzberg Show on Thursday.

West’s comments were in relation to an article penned for FoxNews.com by Dr. Keith Ablow, in which the author writes, “President Obama’s rhetoric is finally coming closer to what appears to be his psychological truth: Because America victimized him and countless millions of others, any person or party or movement that opposes his views and does not yield to him is not just his adversary, but abusive, predatory and even threatening.” Malzburg asked West to frame the President in his own terms, and true to form, he didn’t hold back.

“I can put it in very basic, Southern terms — a spoiled brat child, a pathological liar,” West said, before saying the United States has participated in a “Pavlovian experiment” by continuing to elect Obama to higher and higher public office despite his performance and attitude.

“If you continue to reward bad behavior, you’re gonna get more of that bad behavior,” West continued. “You can go to any grocery store and you can see any parent that acquiesced to a screaming, ranting child in the cereal aisle, you’re gonna get that every time you go to that cereal aisle.”

West also commented on the Pentagon’s decision during the government shutdown to accept the aid of a private organization to provide funds for death benefits paid to families of fallen soldiers. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Thursday that the resolution made legislative action on the matter “not necessary”, while the House of Representatives passed legislation Wednesday to ensure funds for the program and the Senate followed up a day later. The President eventually signed the bill late Thursday after the White House drew ire for Carney’s remark.

“It’s beyond a disgrace, it’s an outrage, it’s reprehensible, it’s disgusting, it’s despicable,” West said. “We have gotten to the point where the greatest nation in the world — the greatest military in the world — will not even take care of the families of fallen warriors, that a private sector entity has to step in and do it.

“Now what does that teach you about government? What does that teach you about the American citizen?” he continued. “We don’t need to have this big onerous government if Americans step up to the plate and fix that which government refuses to do.”

West continued to voice his disdain for the Pentagon’s denial of death benefits for the families of fallen soldiers while speaking at the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit on Friday.

“What kind of nation do we live in, what kinds of values do we have when the families of our fallen warriors are not granted their death benefits from the federal government? What kind of excuse is that … It’s all about your values, it’s all about leadership.

“And I would say this right now: Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, please resign.”
