“I‘d refer you to … my agent.”
That’d probably be Jay Carney’s response when asked about his future employment, which many have speculated about since he left the White House.
According to Re/Code, the former White House Press Secretary is being “bandied about” as a possible spokesman for Uber or Apple. Uber CEO Travis Kalanick said he’s reached out to Carney about joining the company.
Carney has been mum about his future since leaving the White House. A number of recent White House Press Secretaries have worked in TV and political punditry following their exit from their respected administration.

No matter where Carney lands, he’ll always miss the “bromance” he had with his old boss. Their public hug when he announced his resignation all but confirmed that.
