Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) has already chosen his guest for the 2014 State of the Union address — fake Obamacare enrollee Chad Henderson.
Henderson, a 21-year-old from Georgia, was touted by the mainstream media as an example of someone who successfully enrolled in Obamacare through HealthCare.gov. The problem was that Henderson, who is an Organizing for Action activist, hadn’t actually enrolled in a healthcare plan and was simply trying to help the law succeed. And should he decide to buy into Obamacare, he’ll be paying more for his insurance plan than he would have before the new healthcare law was implemented.
That makes him the perfect candidate to be Stockman’s date to the SOTU, apparently. The Congressman made his announcement on Tuesday, via a press release he tweeted out.

“Chad Henderson is ObamaCare personified,” Stockman said in the release. “He pushed ObamaCare on other people but refused to buy it himself because he would pay more. He’s practically a Democrat member of Congress. I hope Chad will join me at the State of the Union Address so Obama can point to someone who personifies his policies.”
Henderson also reportedly donated $1,000 to President Obama during the 2012 election cycle.
“I know Obama can’t wait to personally meet this dedicated supporter,” Stockman added. “I’m proud to give him the opportunity.”
The press release also invited President Barack Obama to join Henderson and Stockman for a photo opportunity.
