Debbie Wasserman Schultz caught a second time accusing a Republican governor of giving women ‘the back of his hand’

Apparently when Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz finds a phrase she likes she is going to repeat it, no matter how offensive.

For the second time within the past month, footage of the DNC chairwoman has surfaced in which she accused a Republican governor of giving women “the back of his hand.”

Republican Super PAC America Rising posted the video clip of Wasserman Schultz Thursday morning.

“Making sure that we can help voters answer that really important question over the next 70 days: who has my back? When they ask themselves that question, they will consistently say Charlie Crist, the Democrats will have my back,” she said, as captured on video.

“Rick Scott has given us the back of his hand.”

Wasserman Schultz made the comments about Florida Gov. Rick Scott at a victory party for Charlie Crist, the Democratic nominee for Florida governor.

Sound familiar? She made almost the exact same remark about Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker a week later at an event that was widely publicized.

“Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. But that is reality,” she said.

This was the public incident that initially caught attention and has been cited as one of the reasons top Democrats are losing faith in her leadership.
