Jeb Bush is doing a lot more than cracking jokes with Jimmy Fallon to target the key Millennial demographic.
The Republican presidential candidate’s campaign sent a document to wealthy Republican Millennials teasing an “evening picnic” in Kennebunkport, Maine, to which the individuals could secure an invite if they raise a sufficient amount of money for Bush, according to The Daily Beast.
“Please accept Jeb Bush, Jr.’s challenge to become a member of the Young Professionals 15 in FIFTEEN team in support of Jeb 2016!” read the document, which explicitly mentioned Bush’s youngest son.
The first 20 “young professional” Republicans who accept the challenge and raise $15,000 for Jeb before June 30 will win themselves admission to the exclusive picnic, which will take place in the Maine beach town on July 9 and feature appearances by undisclosed “special guests.”
Moreover, those who complete the challenge will also receive “Limited edition YP 15 in FIFTEEN gifts,” will gain access to a conference call with Jeb Bush, Jr., and will be part of a host committee for the launch party for “Young Professionals” taking place in the swanky Hamptons.
“YP 15 in FIFTEEN includes direct solicited contributions only,” the document advised its recipients.
The Bush campaign’s love isn’t limited to Millennial donors, of course. Those from older generations looking to gain admission to the July 9 picnic can do so by raising $27,000 by the same June 30 deadline.
It appears American voters have the tough task of deciding between a picnic with Bush and dinner with Hillary Clinton.
