Jon Stewart eviscerates CNN for ridiculous Malaysian plane coverage

As the world searched for answers on Malaysian Airlines flight 370, one news network searched harder than others, even to the point of completely far-fetched speculation: CNN. And comedian Jon Stewart didn’t let the network get away with it.

On Monday night’s episode of The Daily Show, Stewart tore CNN apart for letting its imagination run wild, after anchors actually asked a panel of experts whether or not a black hole or the Bermuda Triangle could have swallowed the plane — something the anchors themselves even admitted sounded “preposterous.”

“Some sort of weird Bermuda Triangle of logic where questions are answered before they’re asked!” Stewart proclaimed.

And the black hole speculation wasn’t the only way CNN lost its mind. They used more plane models than one could count and even surmised that a physic could be called in to find the plane.

Stewart had a better suggestion, however: attach wings to Wolf Blitzer, because “in order to catch a plane, you  must become a plane.”
