[WATCH] U2’s Bono imitates Bill Clinton

Just because he’s Irish doesn’t mean Bono can’t pull off a near-perfect southern drawl.

The U2 frontman and humanitarian made his best Bill Clinton Tuesday at the Clinton Global Initiative summit in New York City.

“When I first met Bono, he walked into the Oval Office and I thought it was a member of his own road crew,” Bono said as the crowd erupted in laughter. “I wasn’t really dressed right, actually I felt like the rock star on that occasion.”

“I must be really easy to make fun of,” the former president then deadpanned.

Clinton isn’t leaving it at that, however, as he plans to do his best imitation of the “Sunday Bloody Sunday” singer on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Live” Wednesday night.

Part of the monologue has already been posted on the 42nd president’s Twitter page.
