7 most narcissistic things Donald Trump said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference

If only everyone could have the ego the size of billionaire real-estate developer, Donald Trump.

The mogul was the keynote speaker at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority” conference on Friday night, where he was less than hesitant to speak of not only the great help that he has offered to the Republican Party, but also of the tremendous success that he has had with his companies both domestically and worldwide.

Trump spoke of his involvement with GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s campaign, highlighting how he was likely the reason that Romney won in many states that he was not likely to win.

In addition, the billionaire managed to use almost every opportunity he could find to emphasize how successful he was and how much people like him.

Since there was so much that Mr. Trump had to say about himself, Red Alert Politics thought it may be useful to compile a list of the 7 most narcissictic things the billionaire had to say. So here they are, in no particular order. Enjoy!

1.

In reference to the November 2012 Presidential election, Trump spoke of his involvement and connection with Mitt Romney’s primary campaign, which somehow had something to do with his company’s activities abroad.

“…I have to tell you, it was just an election that we should have won, and they called me and said, ‘Would you do us a favor?’ They had six states, primary states, where Mitt was behind or not doing well and they asked for my help and I gave them a lot of help. I did robo calls, I did advertisements, I did a lot of work and you know, I’m building a lot of things all over the world…”

2.

He also was not hesitant to emphasize how helpful his involvement was to the former governor’s campaign.

“So Mitt’s people called and, ‘Would you help?’ And Mitt called and he couldn’t have been nicer and I helped in North Carolina, I went and made a keynote speech like this and he won North Carolina. And then I went to Michigan and I spoke, and he won, and he won four other states that he was expecting to lose. In fact in a couple of them, he was five points down and ended up wining by seven and five and ten points… and I think I helped a lot.”

3.

Then somehow, his business achievements became relevant again.

“So he ends up winning the nomination, and he won every state, the six states that I helped him in, and I was proud of him, I thought it was great, then I went back to my business, going after the old post office, we just bought Doral, in Miami, 800 acres in Miami, we’re making that a great resort. All these things, which I love doing, I love doing it the most. And we’re doing a lot, all over the world we’re doing, Scotland, Great Britain… great jobs.”

4.

The billionaire then mentioned that he was a bit upset with the Romney campaign people, however, because after he had helped them so much in winning the primaries, he had not received many calls after to help again.

“I get a call from the Romney people and they want to do a great commercial and they have a wonderful filmmaker, Hollywood guy, tremendously talented guy, and I said, ‘Oh good! They’re going to use me.’ But I felt a little bit slighted, because frankly, I did such a good job in the primaries, and now all of a sudden, they’re not calling. But they called, they said, ‘We’d like to do something.’”

5.

Turns out Romney’s people wanted his help with an advertisement in which the billionaire would berate an Obama look-a-like for his poor running of the country. After they filmed it, however, it turned out to be too controversial to be aired, which Trump was not very happy about.

“So here I am with this great Hollywood person… saying this is one of the best things he’s ever done, I got to see it, it was incredible. And I said it was going to bring down the house and you know — not conceited — but I think it would have brought down the house.”

6.

After some hurt feelings, Trump was asked by the Romney campaign to help out again – this time in Miami, where the billionaire is obviously tremendously successful and adored.

“Then they wanted help, because they were down in Florida, and I have… buildings all over Florida, we did great in Miami, in the Miami area, we have some amazingly successful buildings, I employ thousands and thousands of people, and you know, I said, ‘Boy, am I good for Florida? They like me in Florida!'”

7.

While talking about his success in Miami, Trump also used the opportunity to talk about his achievements in North Carolina, again emphasizing his involvement in helping Mitt Romney win the primaries.

“You know I said when you do something… they like me. North Carolina, I have a big job in North Carolina, Trump National Golf Club, a big success, I took it over. It was a failure; I made it a tremendous success. We have a lot of people working there, everyone in North Carolina talks about it. Plus I made my speech in North Carolina and he [Mitt] ended up winning North Carolina which he wasn’t expecting to do and I figured they’d use me but they didn’t do it, and I was a little bit like surprised.”
