With only 25 days left until the election and the MLB postseason in full swing, some Americans have just given up.
In a new video from Media Research Center, a majority of Washington Nationals fans surveyed prefer that the Nats win the world series over their candidate getting into the White House.
MRC TV host Dan Joseph played the game “Would You Rather” with 15 baseball fans, nine of whom said they would prefer that their beloved Nats go all the way.
“The president really hasn’t changed my life one way or the other,” said one fan. “So, let’s root for the Nats to win the world series.”
Another Nats fans showed his true colors by picking their candidate over the team, saying, “I don’t give a crap if the Nats win or lose. If the country sucks for four years, my life’s over.”
There was one Trump supporter, who was clearly on the fence, who initially picked Trump over the Nationals, and then switched his answer. This prompted Joseph to say, “So, Hillary Clinton in the White House?”
The fan paused and then said, “No! No! My candidate, my candidate.”
