“Are you saying change the words to popular songs to make them about Thanksgiving and also about Hanukkah and Christmas?” late-night host Jimmy Fallon asked actress Rashida Jones on his show Thursday night.
“Jimmy, I’m up all night to get turkey,” Jones responded.
The duo then launched into a fantastic holiday-themed rendition of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” followed by Katy Perry’s “Roar” — after all that turkey, “you’re going to hear me snore” — and more great hits.
Then suddenly, Carrie Underwood appeared, singing Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” with a Pilgrim hat-wearing floating kitten, a throwback to Cyrus’ American Music Awards performance.
“You made me cook a Butterball!” Underwood belted. “And then a green bean casserole.”
Best part? Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” as sung about Black Friday.
“I hate these long lines,” the trio sang.
