Donald Trump can add country singer Beau Davidson to his list of supporters. Davidson appeared with Trump, as Ben Carson awkwardly danced on the side, and serenaded Trump with his version of Stand By Me.
Davidson’s lyrics included “So Donald, Donald stand by me, ohh and we’ll stand by you.” Trump was a good sport, clapping and dancing along. Carson seemed to enjoy it the most.
NowThis hints at the irony in Davidson singing to Trump. He was an “ambassador” for Mitt Romney, who has called Trump “a phony” and “a fraud.”
Not only is the awkward dancing from Trump and Carson amusing, but so is look on the security officer’s face.
