The biggest loser of the Wednesday’s Republican debate wasn’t any of the candidates. It was the CNBC moderators, especially John Harwood who cut off candidates in the middle of speaking several times throughout the debate and insulted the candidates.
Harwood went after Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal on his budget, former New York Gov. Pataki on the U.S. economy, asked Donald Trump if he was running as a “comic book villain,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on driving income inequality, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on climate change.
Things got so bad that Christie had to interrupt Harwood and let him know that “even in New Jersey” what he was doing is considered rude.
