According to the White House, President Barack Obama didn’t know anything about the United States spying on foreign leaders. And that’s apparently not all the POTUS didn’t know.
In a White House press conference spoof on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, fake Obama listed off a series of things he just found out about recently.
“Just because I’m President doesn’t mean I know everything,” faux Obama said.
The fake POTUS said he didn’t know Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Lattes weren’t made with real pumpkins and that Mr. Snuffleupagus was Big Bird’s imaginary friend and therefore only the fluffy yellow bird could see him.
“I mean, if that’s true, how can I see him?” the Prez asked. “Am I Big Bird?”
The conclusion the President reached at the end of his monologue is that he’s “off the hook” because he didn’t know about the spying.
