People can now donate to help Mark Zuckerberg run for president in 2020

Mark Zuckerberg is not running for president. Despite traveling across the country to red, blue, and purple states, taking pictures with babies and animals, asking regular people about hot-button issues, giving college commencement speeches, but he still insists he will not be a candidate in 2020.

Well, maybe he really isn’t running, but if he decides to there will be a super PAC waiting for the Facebook founder and fourth richest man in America, and you can donate.

Fortune reported on Wednesday that a new super PAC called “Disrupt for America” has been created with the goal of convincing Zuckerberg to make a bid in 2020, possibly as a Democrat.

“His comments on the topic are measured, sensible, and allow him to retain flexibility. I think most people would (and should) say something very similar in this situation,” said the PAC’s spokesperson to Fortune. “Having done some preliminary focus group work on this, we are confident that we can overcome any hurdles we might face with respect to the electorate’s perception of Mark as a viable candidate.”

The PAC’s treasurer Rodney Giles, a Houston, Texas-based “serial entrepreneur,” has stated the goal will convince Zuckerberg and help elect progressive Democrats in Texas and Florida to turn the states blue, which if they can’t convince the Facebook founder to run may be their real intended goal.
