The Wisconsin Republican Party launched a second round of “Dumb and Dumber” themed billboard ads featuring Hillary Clinton and former Sen. Russ Feingold.
Clinton is scheduled to give her first rally in Madison, Wis. this week. She will be welcomed to the state by billboards with her own image, advertising the website Leftandlefter.com. The Wisconsin GOP site asks voters to sign a form and stand against the “failed liberal agendas” of Clinton and Feingold.
The website is mostly focused on the FBI investigation of Clinton’s email scandal.
The website also points out that Feingold, who’s running for his old seat after being defeated in 2010, raised the majority of his campaign funds from big money donors outside the state, violating a previous pledge he made to voters.
“With Hillary Clinton possibly facing a full-blown FBI investigation and Senator Feingold seemingly breaking every campaign promise he’s ever made, the similarities between these two sinking campaigns are striking,” said Chris Martin, Communications Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Voters deserve real leadership – and all Democrats offer are candidates and ideas from yesterday.”
The state party released a similar “Dumb and Dumber” themed ad when Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) held a rally in Wisconsin back in July.
