This is why you don’t take selfies in front of a passing train

Free advice: If it smacks you as a good idea to take a selfie right next to the tracks when the train’s coming through, don’t do that.

According to the description, a YouTuber under the name Jared Michael uploaded a 10-second video of him trying to snap a shot of himself. He wrote that he was trying to do it from a “safe” distance, which generally is further than the length of a Subway sandwich from the train tracks.

“I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head,” he wrote.

Yes. Yes, he did.

“I messed up,” he concluded.

Yes. Yes, he did.

(And as Mashable notes, if this winds up being a hoax — the guy was ‘filming’ a selfie, after all — it’s a painful-looking one.)
