The Romney campaign’s attempt to start a pro-Romney parody account for Bill Clinton (@Bill_Clinton12) yesterday afternoon appears to have flopped, with the account garnering only 314 followers at the time of this blog post.
The parody Twitter account was created by the Romney campaign to taunt President Obama about recent statements made by Clinton praising Romney’s record as a businessman.
The account is very clearly labeled as a parody account and features a photo of Bill Clinton wearing black sunglasses and playing the saxophone.
The tweets are hit and miss, with some being astoundingly funny and others being too humorless to appeal to conservative twitter users’ snarky style.
