Vice President Joe Biden hammed it up with locals in Singapore, stopping at the Adam Road hawker center Thursday afternoon, along with son-in-law Dr. Howard Krein. The center is known for its prawn noodle soup and nasi lemak fried rice, according to the White House pool report.
Biden walked around and chatted with the food stall owners. But then, this happened, according to the pool report:
“Mr. Biden surprised another diner when he sat down next to him so that the two could take a photo together. Later the man asked: ‘Who is he?’”
The vice president concluded his trip by buying two cups of fresh lime juice for $3 Singapore dollars.
