Democrat fallout from Hobby Lobby is pretty much #banbosses

With today’s Supreme Court decision in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, Congressional Democrats have rushed to Twitter to dispute the ruling. And while some have come after the Court, many have instead directed their frustration toward bosses.

Many Senate and House Democrats have voiced their opinions about the 5-4 decision under the hashtag #NotMyBossBusiness. Rather than accept the concept of judicial review, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid instead tweeted out a faux letter that placed the blame on bosses.

House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi also voiced her apparent distrust with bosses and CEOs. She made the claim that today’s decision is “a gross violation of worker’s religious rights” and allows CEOs to “limit medical procedures to employees.” How she came to such a conclusion is today’s mystery.

Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) tweeted out a graphic explaining her claim that bosses “shouldn’t have a say” in a woman’s health decisions. Of course, the boss pictured is a creepy looking male. Speier couldn’t pass up the chance to include gender politics and further the so-called “war on women.”

Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.) even tweeted the outrageous claim that the court ruled “your boss can be your doctor.” Okay, Al. He should probably read the court’s decision before tweeting.

Many Democratic members of Congress tweeted Planned Parenthood’s picture, once again calling out bosses.

The hashtag was #NotMyBossBusiness. Maybe just jump to #banbosses, instead?
