Spock says that immigration reform is “logical.” On Tuesday, “Star Trek” actor Leonard Nimoy took to Twitter to show his support for the Senate’s immigration bill. In a series of tweets, he said that securing the border and creating a path for immigrants to become taxpayers is “logical,” and called on the House of Representatives to get “millions out of the shadows.”
He also shared part of his own story. “My dad was an immigrant barber,” the actor noted. “I sold newspapers, washed dishes, drove a taxi, cleaned animal cages. You work your way up.”
The White House clearly approved, retweeting the actor before the day’s end.
