Lunch of the queen bees: Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi to be guests at “Ultimate Women’s Power Luncheon”

Hang on to your pantsuits.

According to an invitation obtained by Politico, Hillary Clinton and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will be “honored guests” at the “Ultimate Women’s Power Luncheon,” a fundraiser being hosted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on Oct. 20.

The pricey fundraiser is being held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. According to the invitation, a single ticket to the event costs $500. Those who want to attend the VIP reception or obtain a photo of the event will have to shell out thousands of dollars more.

It’s not quite the $32,000 tickets Obama was asking for, but still seems steep for just these two.

Although she was not a Clinton supporter back in 2008, Pelosi has spoken favorably of a Clinton candidacy, saying earlier this year that Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden were “riches” for the party and that she “pray[s] that Hillary Clinton decides to run for president of the United States.”
