Ted Cruz thinks President Obama took a trip to the wrong Texas theater.
On Wednesday, the president defended his decision to not visit the border by noting that the current immigration issue is “not theater” and that he is more interested in “solving a problem” than in “photo ops.”
Texas Senator Ted Cruz quickly took the president to task for his “theater” comment. In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday night, Cruz remarked, “You know, apparently, the theater he’s interested in is seeing the home movie theater of wealthy Texas trial lawyers, and he’s interested in getting checks from wealthy Texas trial lawyers, but he’s not interested in seeing the poor immigrant children who are suffering,”
