Ted Nugent says he would ‘shoot’ Harry Reid

Conservative rock musician Ted Nugent, who has previously called President Obama a “subhuman mongrel” and suggested that veterans are committing suicide because of the president, recently outlined a scenario in which he would shoot Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).

During a Q&A at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting Friday in Nashville, Tennessee, Nugent, who is a member of the NRA’s board of directors, called Reid a “lying prick.”

In particular, an audience member asked Nugent,  “How and why did the NRA ever endorse Harry Reid to serve as the front man of Osama Obama?”

Though gun group donated $4,000 to Reid’s 2010 re-election campaign, the organization didn’t ultimately endorse him.

Nugent responded by doing a Harry Reid impression, later framing Reid as a necessary evil.

“If your child is dying and there is only one way to get to the doctor, would you get on Harry Reid’s boat to get there? … I’d get on the boat, get there, and then I’d shoot him,” explained Nugent.
