Many Americans have no clue what the sequester is — as a hilarious new Jimmy Kimmel video revealed — including one pedestrian who openly admitted she had only voted for President Obama “because he’s black.”
Kimmel’s crew took to Hollywood Boulevard to ask a ‘Confusing Question of the Day,’ namely, “What do you think of Obama pardoning the sequester and sending it to Portugal?”
As usual, people were more than willing to chime in on a topic about which they knew nothing. One pedestrian, however, admitted that she didn’t know anything about Obama ‘pardoning’ the automatic budget cuts.
“Sequester, what?” she asked. “I don’t know. I just voted for him because he’s black.”
Other people’s responses were almost equally ridiculous, with definitions of the sequester ranging from job creation to a robot terrorist. Sounds like people need to read the news a little more.
