Fresh piña coladas, cold beer and your favorite tunes — what more could you need?
The COOLEST Cooler, a new product on Kickstarter, has raised over $1,000,000 since its campaign began this week. The product is dubbed “The coolest cooler” because it’s not your father’s cooler. Ryan Grepper, the product’s creator, calls it the “21st century cooler.”
Besides keeping those six-packs nice and frosty, the COOLEST also includes a battery-powered blender, waterproof wireless speakers, a USB charger, an LED light, and a bottle opener.
“Regular coolers are boring, break easily and are a hassle to haul around just to carry the ice,” the Kickstarter reads. “The COOLEST cooler is 60 quarts of AWESOME packed with so much fun you’ll look for excuses to get outside more often.”
Grepper brags about the storage the COOLEST cooler provides. It includes a split lid, a divider, and storage for plates and utensils on the lid.
Currently, backers of the Kickstarter can purchase the COOLEST for as low as $165. Retail price will be $299 when the product reaches the market in early 2015.
