Jon Stewart on Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal: ‘What the f–k?’

Now even liberal comedians are tearing Hillary Clinton apart for her press conference Tuesday regarding her exclusive use of a private e-mail system while at the State Department.

Jon Stewart featured a segment on “The Daily Show” Wednesday night — as promised — during which he examined the “two problems” with Hillary’s explanation that she neglected to use a government e-mail account because carrying around two phones would have been inconvenient.

“First, since Clinton left the State Department, her single-device preference has completely gone away,” said Stewart, spotlighting video taken of Clinton two weeks ago during which she claims to have both “an iPhone and a Blackberry.”

“Second,” Stewart continued. “You are a person that wants to be president, which is a super inconvenient job. Did you know that everywhere you go, you not only have to carry a phone, but a briefcase filled with nuclear codes? So, you can’t suddenly go, ‘This briefcase is kind of a hassle to carry, can I just put these codes on my phone?’ Because then, halfway through your term, you butt dial a nuclear strike on Mexico.”

The comedian then explained that it “looks weird” that Clinton sidestepped a regulation out of convenience, even if she and her staff provided the State Department with 55,000 pages of e-mails they deemed work-related.

“Maybe you did hand over everything you were supposed to, but when we all agree to do things a certain way and you do it in a different way, it looks weird,” said Stewart.

Of course, Hillary admitted at her news conference that, upon separating her personal and professional e-mails, she deleted all 30,000 of the personal e-mails.

“What the f–k?” Stewart exclaimed.

“You just told us you didn’t follow the rules because having two e-mail addresses would be way too big a pain in the a–, but know what is a far bigger pain in the a–?” the comedian said in conclusion. “Trying to delete 30,000 e-mails.”

Well, at least Hillary still has Bill Maher in her corner.
