Flashback: Clinton sounds like Trump on Mexico and immigration [VIDEO]

Hillary Clinton might have claimed during her victory speech on Tuesday that she prefers building bridges to walls, but in 2006 she sounded a lot more like Donald Trump.

A pro-Trump Reddit page posted a video of Clinton gearing up for her re-election bid for New York Senator where she talked about the best way to tackle the issue of Mexico pushing low-skilled migrants to the U.S.

“Mexico is such an important problem,” Clinton said. “Mexican government policies are pushing migration north.”

“There isn’t any sensible approach except to do what we need to do simultaneously,” she continued. “You know, secure our borders, technology, personal, physical barriers if necessary in some places. We need tougher employer sanctions and we need to incentivize Mexico to do more.”

Physical barriers? Like a wall! She must be have been in the Klan back then?

“[Unauthorized immigrants] if they’ve committed transgressions of whatever kind, they should be obviously deported,” Clinton said.

While she doesn’t talk about rapists, drug dealers, and criminals, in 10 years Clinton has gone from a senator who agreed with Trump on border security to an open-borders advocate who will pander to anyone for votes.
