Kathy Griffin is a hypocrite on political correctness at college campuses

Kathy Griffin was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers Tuesday where she exposed herself as a hypocrite about political correctness on college campuses.

She claimed “trigger warnings” on college campuses shouldn’t apply to comedians because it’s their job to be outlandish and controversial, especially with Griffin’s style of comedy.

“[Trigger warnings are] not for standup comics. I mean for heads of state or elected officials, fine, but I think if you’re a standup comic you should be inappropriate, and wrong, and sometimes booed off the stage,” Griffin said referring to a recent show at Florida State University.

Griffin said that even when she’s being booed she has to stay on stage for a a full hour in order to get paid and sometimes it gets very uncomfortable.

At the Florida State performance Griffin said she was shocked and offended to find out that the school’s football team is called the Seminoles — after the Indian tribe.

“I did the first 10 minutes of the show telling the kids in the audience, ‘you guys should change your name it’s really dumb,” she said.

Griffin was booed off stage, fled to her car crying and then called Cher.
