While most 10-year-olds are thinking about seeing the new Avengers movie or playing baseball, rising fifth grader Shay Doyle is plotting a way to put Donald Trump in the White House.
In an interview on Tuesday with the Huffington Post at a Trump campaign event in Iowa, Doyle said Trump is his idol and is going to be a fantastic president.
“He will fix this country. He’ll make America great again,” Doyle said of Trump, pointing to his logo.
The fifth grader doesn’t just advocate for the billionaire to his friends and family, he goes far beyond other supporters of Trump.
Doyle will be heading out on the campaign trail for his idol. On Tuesday, he even introduced the newly announced presidential candidate at an event in Des Moines.
“The reason I like him is because he’s a lot like me in the way he’s very bull-headed. His passion leads him to where he wants to go,” Shay continued.
Doyle also has a Twitter account and plans on using it to promote Trump.
“I mean, he’s the North American dream,” Shay told HuffPo. “I’d say just look at him, he’s going to run this country, he’s going to be great at it, vote for him.”
