Santorum says ‘Bulls**t’ at campaign appearance

Rick Santorum’s Questions from a New York Times reporter had temper flaring at a Wisconsin campaign event Sunday.

The reporter asked the former Senator why he thought Mitt Romney was the worst Republican in the country in response to comments he made saying that Obama was the “worst Republican in the country to go up against Barack Obama.”

“What speech did you listen to?” Santorum asked the reporter in an agitated tone of voice and pointing his finger in the reporter’s face. “Stop lying! I said he was the worst Republican in the country to run against Obama on the issue of Obamacare.

“In every speech I have made in this I country, I have said that he is uniquely disqualified to run against Barack Obama on the issue of health care.”

These comments echoed ones he made Saturday at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference where he said that nominating Romney would concede defeat on Obamacare .

“Quit distorting my words,” Santorum said. “If I see it, it’s bulls**t.

“C’mon man, what are you doing?” Santorum continued.

To which the reporter followed up asking, “Who’s distorting your words?”

Santorum then followed up accusing the reporter of distorting his words by asking him about his feelings about Mitt Romney.

The former Senator added Monday morning during an appearance on Fox and Friends that “you aren’t a real Republican if you haven’t yelled at a New York Times reporter.”
