Far-left activists took to the streets across the U.S. to protest the President on Sunday. In New York City, they gravitated to Union Square in downtown Manhattan and got into a scuffle with conservative YouTuber Brittany Venti who was later arrested because of the incident.
Venti has built a following by mocking social justice warriors in her videos. She attended the NYC May Day protest with a man she identified as her boyfriend on her live stream.
During the protest, the two were surrounded by far-left activists including one man who was clearly a member of Antifa. The two were mocking speakers, trolling the event, and even making jokes at the socialists who were cornering them when one decided to get violent and started pushing them.
“Don’t push me, I’m a woman,” Venti started screaming on her Periscope. “You’re oppressing me. You’re literally oppressing me. Don’t touch my f**king boyfriend, get out of my personal f**king space.”
At another point, a man began screaming at the two saying they were with the state of Israel. Venti’s boyfriend corrected him by saying he was Canadian.
Antifa activists started locking arms, chanting “out, out,” and physically pushing the two. In the video below, one protestor with a black hoodie can be seen physically pulling Venti’s boyfriend off the stairs while a man in pink hair is seen hitting her with a stick. In retaliation, the conservative YouTuber clocked him in the face.

On another Periscope, Venti said she was hit hard in the head with a stick and was standing up for her right to freedom of speech.

She was released from jail later on that day and reunited with her boyfriend as members of the Proud Boys rooted them on.
