John Oliver dedicated his long segment on Last Week Tonight Sunday to discussing transgender rights in the aftermath of the historic Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage that served as a win for the LGBT community.
The comedian skewered individuals in the media for asking transgender individuals about possible changes they have made to their bodies.
“It is no more okay to ask transgender people about their sex organs than it would be to ask Jimmy Carter whether or not he’s circumsized,” Oliver quipped.
