People supporting Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and neither can all agree on one thing: Fox News’ Chris Wallace was by far the best debate moderator in this presidential election.
More than half the debate came and past and both candidates were forced to stick to the issues that will affect Americans.
It wasn’t the he-said, she-said mudsling Americans endured during the first two debates. Instead Wallace focused on the debt, jobs, the economy, abortion, gun control, immigration, foreign policy, and terrorism — in other words, things people actually cared about.
Wallace also didn’t allow candidates to filibuster, he stopped both Clinton and Trump when he thought they were going over time.
His hard work and journalistic integrity was not lost on the either left or the right. Even Gov. Gary Johnson praised the Fox News host.
Chris Wallace was fantastic. A very good night for @FoxNews and the journalists who work for the network. #debate

Was Wallace fair? RNC’s @SeanSpicer: “He did a good job.” Clinton campaign’s @BrianEFallon: “I think he did an extremely effective job”

He works for Fox but Chris Wallace deserves exceptional praise. He was tough and he was right down the middle fair. His Dad would be proud.

Who won the debate? Chris Wallace.

Congrats to Chris Wallace who didn’t make it about him. Tough questions to both; let them actually debate. Good for him!

Wells done by Chris Wallace. I would have liked fewer topics and more engagement, but tough questions for both. Kept order. He’s a pro.

Kudos to Chris Wallace for bringing up the topic they don’t want to talk about: wasteful spending and debt. Wish we had more than 4 mins!
