President Barack Obama has only turned in his budget on time once since he’s been in office, but as always, he filled out his NCAA Men’s Basketball March Madness bracket before the deadline!
As Republican Study Committee Chairman Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) pointed out on Wednesday, three out of four of the states Obama picked for his Final Four this year have unemployment rates higher than the national unemployment rate.
“The president picking their teams in the Final Four is little relief for the millions of middle-class families struggling to find work in the failed Obama economy,” Scalise reportedly said.
Other Republican House members expressed their frustration on Twitter on Wednesday that the president filled out his bracket before he could finish the budget.
While the President can turn in his NCAA bracket on time each year, this is his fourth budget out five that is late since he took office.

If you still wanted to model your bracket after the president, Obama’s money is on Indiana to beat Louisville in the National Championship, hardly a risky move since both are number one seeds this year.
He picked Ohio State (2) and Florida (3) to fill out the rest of the Final Four, which is a ballsy move for Obama, who has had a habit of ‘going chalk,’ or picking the number one seeds.
Obama also noted during an interview with ESPN that he had Syracuse making it to the Sweet Sixteen “mainly because Biden told me if I didn’t pick ’em he wouldn’t talk to me.”
Since he stepped into the White House, Obama’s odds of picking the National Champion have been 50/50. He guessed right when he picked Kentucky to be the National Champion last year.
“I’m feeling good,” Obama told ESPN. “I’m ready to win some money here.”
