Delta’s newest safety video may not catch your attention for the right reasons.
Titling it “The Internetest Safety Video on the Internet,” Delta managed to cram 22 viral-video internet “stars” into their latest safety video in what appears to be an attempt to stay relevant and hold people’s attention during the typically boring in-flight safety instructions.
From a “Harlem Shake” demonstration of when it’s OK to move about the cabin to an appearance by “overly attached girlfriend,” the six-minute-long video somehow manages to fit in all the important safety information … plus a dancing baby.
It remains to be seen whether the video, published Wednesday, will soar with Delta’s customers or crash and burn.
