Apparently satirical news site The Daily Currant doesn’t just fool your ill-informed Facebook friends, it also can trick the New York Times.
The NYT issued a correction Saturday, apologizing for using a fake quote from Kanye West about Kim Kardashian’s butt in its “Fear of Kim Kardashian’s Derrière” column.
While it does seem like someone probably should have fact checked this, with all the news about Kardashian’s booty lately and West’s penchant for outrageous quotes, we can see how one might find this believable.
