A Missouri Bar offered a Michael Brown drink special–6 shots for the 6 times a police officer shot Brown–after apparently giving that decision approximately zero thoughts.
Mug Shots Pub in St. Joseph advertised the special deal of 6 shots for 10 dollars.
Outrage on social media ensued, and the bar owner has since taken it down and apologized.
“It’s not meant to cause any harm,” he said. “I should have thought a little bit more about it before I made it a shot special.”
He said he initially saw another bar with the same special, and “It looked like it was getting a good response so I just decided to use it here.”
