Saturday Night Live writers practically had their jokes written for them after last week’s final presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Between Trump’s comments about deporting any “bad hombres” out of the United States, to calling Hillary a “nasty woman” after his assertion that “no one respects women more than I do,” Alec Bladwin had plenty of material for his impersonation of the Republican nominee. Kate McKinnon did her job playing Clinton – reiterating her career highlights and pivoting from questions about Wikileaks and her email scandal, while still being portrayed as the clear frontrunner.
Tom Hanks, who played debate moderator Chris Wallace, asked McKinnon/Clinton if she would ever answer a question about her emails.
“No, but it was very cute to watch you try,” McKinnon said.
Baldwin/Trump bragged about his endorsements from Sarah Palin, “Chachi” aka Scott Baio, and “the best Baldwin brother, Stephen.”
Alec Baldwin’s brother Stephen is a Trump supporter and former Celebrity Apprentice contestant. He agrees with the Republican nominee that his brother’s impression is not very funny.
