A video of a young woman named Chelsea has now gone viral on Facebook. This doe-eyed millennial can barely contain her tears as she starts off by sharing how she organized phone banking for Bernie Sanders in southern states.
Chelsea shares she is “still learning” but that she thinks it’s important people know about her experience. She must not have done much campaigning before, because she sobbed over the mean comments she heard. She even mentions how they “actually made me sick.” Chelsea may not be cut out for this kind of work, as she lamented “I don’t think anyone that’s a human that has feelings and sense can sit through hours of talking to people…” with certain beliefs about race and immigration.
For the most part, Chelsea complains about Trump supporters, but then manages to group all conservatives and Republicans together, by saying she talked to very few nice ones.
It wasn’t enough to sob out her feelings though, as Chelsea also managed to take shots at southern states. “It was really hard. It was not at all like calling the other states, and calling Nevada.” She throws out the charming line of “you know these are people that think they won the civil war. It’s like talking to less than a brick wall.”
There’s something about this generation when it comes to sharing every aspect of their feelings on the Internet. With the video going viral, Chelsea is hopefully preparing herself for more mean comments and mockery.
