Dick Cheney calls President Obama the ‘worst of my lifetime,’ says Jimmy Carter was a better president

In an television interview yesterday, former Vice President Dick Cheney had some harsh words and bitter comparisons for President Barack Obama.

“I think he is the worst president of my lifetime. I fundamentally disagree with him. I think he’s doing a lot of things wrong,” said Cheney on “The Lead” with CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Cheney’s comments come only a few weeks after the American voters rated Obama the worst president since World War II.

“Jimmy Carter might have been a better president than Barack Obama, and I didn’t think I would ever say that,” he continued.

While critical of Obama, Cheney said that unlike Sarah Palin, he’s “not prepared at this point to call for the impeachment of the president.” He did, however, give support to Speaker John Boehner’s lawsuit against Obama.
