Jonah Hill offers some good advice: turn the other cheek

Actor Jonah Hill found himself in some hot water early this week for calling a paparazzo a homophobic slur, after Hill alleged the man trailed him all day and said hurtful things about his family.

Hill went on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday to address the incident and apologize, and in the process, he provided some sage advice for everyday living.

“If someone says something that hurts you or angers you, use me as an example of what not to do,” Hill said. “Don’t respond with hatred or anger, because you’re just adding more ugliness to the world.”

Hill appeared on Howard Stern’s radio program earlier in the day to apologize.

“I played into exactly what he wanted and lost my cool and in that moment I said a disgusting word that does not at all reflect how I feel about any group of people.”
