Obama’s astoundingly inaccurate spin on employment numbers

President Obama has been misleading the American people, taking credit for a non-existent record of economic growth by presenting highly inaccurate numbers on job creation.

The strategy involves changing the definition of the size of the workforce by removing the the long-term unemployed who have stopped looking for jobs.

As a result, there is a decrease in the ratio of unemployed individuals versus the total number of people in the workforce. This method has allowed the Obama Administration to present an unemployment scenario that is less severe than the actual employment crisis facing the American people.

The demographic group that has suffered the most negative impact from Obama era job loss is the 25-54 age range, whose have reached their highest jobless rate in decades.

Unemployment for individuals in that age range is considered to be especially dire, because they are at a time in their life where financially planning for retirement is important.

Recent job statistics show that men in this age range have been hit the hardest, as the 25-54 male demographic has the highest jobless rate in over 60 years.

These numbers illustrate the disturbing predicament facing many Americans, who are realizing that they do not have enough financial security to enter retirement, and need to find another source of income.

Already, America is facing a situation where nearly half of all households rely on some form of government entitlement.

With staggering jobless numbers and an administration that is content to ignore economic reality, expect America’s economic woes to get worse if Barack Obama is given another four years to inflect his agenda on the economy.
