Christie spars with moderators over fantasy football

Almost everyone seems to have a problem with the CNBC debate moderators, especially New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Moderators asked former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush if the federal government should get involved in fantasy football because it’s considered gambling by many people.

Bush took the time to gloat that his fantasy football team is 7-0 but stated that despite being a fan of fantasy spots that he does not gamble, he did say however that he supports some form of regulation over the fantasy sports teams.

Christie immediately lashed out at the moderators.

“Are we really talking getting the federal government involved in fantasy football?” the New Jersey Governor asked. “Wait a second, we have $19 trillion in debt, we have people out of work, we have ISIS and Al Qaeda attacking us, and we’re talking about fantasy football?”

The question was met with a huge roar from the crowd.

“How about this, we get the government to do what it’s suppose to be doing- secure our borders, protect our people, and support American values and American families.”

After attacking the hosts, CNBC’s John Harwood went back at Christie for believing in climate change.

Christie tried to answer but was being cut off by Hardwood, so the governor hit back.

“John do you want me to answer or do you want to answer, because even in New Jersey what you’re doing is called rude,” Christie responded.
