Bringing a little bit of fun and excitement to the 2014 Sochi Olympics, the world-famous Russian Police Choir serenaded those at the opening ceremony with a bit of punk — Daft Punk, that is.
Shortly before the ceremony began, the choir — officially known as the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ choir — reminded the world that they were gonna be “up all night to get lucky.” The performance became even more magical when the choir broke down into four-part harmony with a full on, majestic base line.
According to The Moscow Times, the choir first premiered their cover of “Get Lucky” at a concert at the Kremlin last November. The choir also sang an amazing rendition of Adele’s “Skyfall” last summer.
