The Republican National Committee has released its platform website, a site designed to give young people who aren’t necessarily delegates to the RNC, a voice in the direction of the Republican Party.
According to an RNC press release, the Platform Committee Website “will serve as a place for Republicans across the country to share their ideas with us about the issues and values they want included in our party’s platform.”
A quote from RNC Chairman Reince Priebus was also included in the press release in which he stated: “President Obama’s big government agenda is bankrupting our country, destroying our economy, and hurting the middle class.”
Priebus continues, stating that he is “grateful for Governor Bob McDonnell of Virginia, Senator John Hoeven of North Dakota, and Representative Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee who will be leading this process. I look forward to working with them and all our activists as we write our platform and send Governor Mitt Romney to the White House.”
Young Republicans who want to voice their ideas about the Republican Party’s platform are encouraged to visit the platform website, www.GOPPlatform2012.com. Individuals can also follow the Platform Committee on Twitter @gopplatform2012.
