Russia is tired of Washington’s ‘wolf’ cry that they’re trying to rig the U.S. presidential election.
In an interview with CNN, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov sharply dismissed the accusation that his country is trying to rig the election for Donald Trump by hacking our electronic voting booths, compromising millions of votes.
“It’s flattering, of course, to get this kind of attention — for a regional power, as President Obama called us some time ago,” Lavrov told Christiane Amanpour. “Now everybody in the United States is saying that it is Russia which is running the [US] presidential debate. We have not seen a single fact, a single proof.”
Hillary Clinton and Democrats accused Russia of collusion by coordinating the release of Clinton and DNC emails to benefit the Trump campaign. When asked about the proposed response that the White House plans to retaliate, Lavrov said, “It’s not worth, I believe, speculating. If they decided to do something, let them do it. But to say that Russia is interfering in the United States’ domestic matters, is ridiculous.”
After the leaked video was released to the public in which Trump said he could grab women by the ‘pussy,’ Lavrov admitted that with English not being his first language he was unsure if what he was about to say would be “decent.”
Lavrov continued, “There are so many pussies around the presidential campaign on both sides that I prefer not to comment.”
