Yikes.
Potential GOP presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump weighed in on several of his 2016 challengers in a segment for ABC News, particularly expressing his negative assessments of Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.
“He’s stumbling. I don’t know. I don’t understand this man,” Trump said of former Florida Gov. Bush. “He’s not even a smart person.”
When asked about his thoughts on Florida Sen. Rubio, Trump described himself as “disappointed” by Rubio’s “foolish” and “stupid” answer to the Iraq War question that has become quite popular as of late.
Trump had nicer words to say about Scott Walker, admitting that he “like[s] him very much” but stressing that Wisconsin’s debt is going to pose a “big problem” for the state’s governor.
Of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Trump said, “He’s a friend of mine,” but admitted that the potential candidate has faced “difficulties” like the “Bridgegate” scandal.
Trump wasn’t even that harsh on Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, pointing out her twin scandals but stopping short of labeling her stupid as he did Bush and Rubio.
“What she’s done with emails is unbelievable,” Trump explained. “I think the book [Clinton Cash] is a big problem for her. … I think she’s got some difficulties. I don’t think it’s going to be that easy for her.”
